Earlycall is a tool for deciding whether an experiment can answer its question. It needs remarkably little about you, and nothing at all about the people using your product. This page says exactly what is stored, where, and for how long — in the same plain terms as the rest of the site.

What Earlycall never collects

What is stored, if you create an account

DataWhyKept
Email addressTo sign you in and send account email — including, at most weekly, a reminder when a running test is waiting for numbers. One click in that email turns it off, and so does a switch on the Account tab.Until you delete the account
PasswordHeld by AWS Cognito, never by us — we never see itUntil you delete the account
Your experiments: names, cumulative totals, verdicts, datesThe ledger — it is the productUntil you delete them or the account
Bets you scoreYour bet sheetUntil you delete them or the account
Summary numbers from Pro uploads (a mean, a spread, a count per category)So your bet sheet can use your history instead of the public corpusUntil replaced or the account is deleted
Stripe customer reference, plan statusTo know whether you are on ProUntil you delete the account

Note the difference in the fifth row: the file is not kept, only the handful of numbers computed from it. There is no way to reconstruct your upload from what we store.

Analytics — and why there is no cookie banner

We use PostHog to count how the pages are used: which tools get run, which step of the design review people stop at. On every public page it runs without cookies — nothing is stored on your device, and nothing follows you between visits or between sites. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything: there is nothing to accept.

Inside the signed-in app, PostHog uses ordinary storage so that usage can be tied to your account and we can support you properly. There are no advertising trackers, no third-party pixels and no data sold or shared for marketing, anywhere on this site.

Shared decision reports

If you create a shareable report link, that page is readable by anyone who has the link — that is the point of it. It is excluded from search engines, but treat the link itself as the key. Only create one for something you are content for a recipient to forward.

Where your data lives

Earlycall runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States. Sign-in is handled by AWS Cognito, payments by Stripe, analytics by PostHog, reminder email is sent through Amazon SES and support email is forwarded via ImprovMX. If you are in the UK or EU, this means your account data is transferred to the US; those transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses. We use no other processors.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EU you have the right to see the data we hold about you, correct it, export it, or have it deleted. Because there is so little of it, we do this by hand and quickly: email support@earlycall.io and we will action it within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your experiments, bets, measured priors and account record. You do not need a reason and there is no retention period we hold you to.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are held by Cognito and never reach our systems. Account data sits in DynamoDB with point-in-time recovery enabled. We are a small operation and do not claim a formal certification we have not obtained — what we can say is that the surface is deliberately small, because the product does not need your data to work.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes materially we will say so here and date it. Questions, requests or complaints: support@earlycall.io. If you are in the UK and are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
